The WD6822-48X6H and WD6822-48X6H[Premium] deliver 48 × 10GE ports and QSFP28 ports, while the WD6822-24X6H and WD6822-24X6H[Premium] offer 24 × 10GE ports and 6 × 100GE QSFP28 ports, providing the performance and connectivity required for modern data center environments.

VSS (Second Generation Intelligent Resilience Architecture)

Simplify data center networking with VSS (Virtual Switching System) technology, which virtualizes multiple switches into a single logical device to create a unified switching architecture. Designed to enhance scalability, reliability, distribution, and availability, VSS also enables a long-distance intelligent elastic architecture within a rack, across racks, and even across regions.

Enable highly scalable network virtualization with VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN), delivering greater Layer 2 segmentation scalability and more efficient utilization of available network paths. Simplify VXLAN deployment with support for MP-BGP EVPN (Multiprotocol Border Gateway Protocol Ethernet Virtual Private Network), which serves as the VXLAN control plane for streamlined configuration. Ensure ultra-low latency and lossless performance with support for Priority-based Flow Control (PFC), Enhanced Transmission Selection (ETS), and Data Center Bridging Exchange (DCBX), making the series ideal for FC storage, RDMA applications, and high-speed computing services.

WatchDog distributed resilient network interconnection (DRNI)

Enhance network resilience with DRNI (M-LAG) support, enabling links from multiple switches to be combined into a single logical link for device-level redundancy. Ideal for dual-homed server deployments, DRNI provides node redundancy while simplifying network topology and spanning tree configuration by virtualizing two physical devices into a single logical device. It also supports independent member upgrades, allowing devices to be upgraded one at a time with minimal impact on traffic forwarding. In addition, the DR system utilizes a keepalive link to detect multi- active collisions, ensuring that only one-member device forwards traffic following a DR system split, thereby delivering high availability and reliable network operation.
